Are you ready for change?

Hi! I’m Varayna — an honest & down-to-earth therapist based in Atlanta, GA. I specialize in anxiety/depression, stress/burnout & life transitions.
If life has been feeling overwhelming, draining, and uncertain, I’m here to help.
Life can be full of joy and great experiences at times but other times, it can feel less joyful. You may be feeling stuck and not exactly sure how to best move forward. If you are feeling ready to change, let’s partner to help you find the skills to get you moving in a new direction and toward the life you truly want to live.

SPECIALTIES:

  • Anxiety/Depression

While anxiety and depression are two different experiences, they often coexist.  Consistent worry and persistent sadness, frequent irritability and low energy can all be intermittently experienced to various degrees and be very difficult to manage. I have extensive experience working with clients who experience both and using the proven techniques of CBT and ACT to help learn ways of coping and improving symptoms.
  • Stress/Burnout

Feeling constantly tired, overwhelmed, and emotionally drained is all too common these days.  With so many responsibilities, it can be hard to know how find relief from the constant barrage of stuff.  I can help you identify your major stressors and reprioritize your life in a way that makes sense and brings more regular peace and joy.

  • Life Transitions

Whether they are welcome changes like a big move or a new baby or not so welcome ones, like a major breakup or death of a loved one, change can be hard.  It often feels confusing, overwhelming, and sometimes really disorienting.  Whatever the case, I can help you sort through the weighty feelings and make sense of the process of big change.

I am:

  • an honest listener with a sense of humor

  • a partner in creating and fulfilling

    your vision

  • a supporter and encourager

CLIENTS SAY:

 They feel:

  • truly seen and heard

  • freedom to be their full selves and practice genuine self-expression

  • safe to work on hard things and to have a laugh in the process

  • Most clients meet weekly which is most recommended to build a deep, meaningful therapeutic relationship. Weekly meetings allow for regular processing of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as well as the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions. Biweekly meetings are available, if needed

  • Good question. It can be tempting to put a time frame on therapy (or any process in life really) but the truth is that there is no magic number of sessions for your journey. Part of our time together will be assessing what progress looks like for you and we can work together for as long, or as short, as it takes to feel you have reached your own personal goals.

  • An Investment:

Therapy is an investment in yourself. It is understandable that you want to make the most of your investment. I offer over 15 years of experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression.

Individual sessions are $175 for a 50 minute session. Credit card and HSA payments are accepted.

    Insurance

Insurance is not accepted, however, if your insurance covers out of network therapy costs, a superbill (receipt) can be provided for your reimbursement. Click here for more information regarding out of network benefits.
