Black Therapist Friday Mixer
It’s Friday for $5! Come get a plate and connect with other Black therapists! We’re having a Southern charcuterie board complete with pulled bbq chicken and peach cobbler and we’re mixing and mingling with other mental health professionals.
BTC (Black Therapist Connect) provides a safe, professional space for Black therapists to call home. We believe we’re better in community, so we’re building it. Come check us out. More info below.
DATE: FRIDAY, Aug 8th
TIME: 6:00p - 8:00p
WHERE: Blue House Wellness, 610 Kentucky Street, Scottdale, GA 30079
(right outside Decatur)
PREVIOUS EVENT:
Insurance is an ongoing discussion in the therapist community. We’re jumping in.
To be or not to be…paneled, that is. Come out and talk with practice owners who both utilize insurance to sustain their practice and those who opt not to do so. Hear the pros/cons and how each clinician makes their choice work for them. We’ll also talk about third parties like Headway, Grow, etc.
MIXER to immediately follow! Follow up the insurance conversation or chat generally with other Black therapists in the Atlanta area. As always, we’ll have good food, good music, and good conversation. Join us in learning and making lasting professional connections!
